Editorial policy
Active Concert Review aims to make concert listening clearer without flattening the differences between performances. We distinguish verifiable details from interpretation, correct mistakes openly and label material created through commercial relationships.
Accuracy and context
We check factual details before publication and use clear language when a point is uncertain, interpretive or dependent on context. We do not invent quotations, performance details or expertise. If a subject cannot be explained responsibly from the information available, we narrow the claim or leave it out.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for their relevance to readers, not to secure a commercial arrangement. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage, and partners do not approve independent editorial work before publication.
Corrections
Readers can report a suspected error through the Contact page. We review the point, correct confirmed mistakes and clarify material changes in the article where appropriate. We do not silently preserve a known factual error.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid, provided or otherwise partner-supported material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when that is the case, we identify them as such. Illustrations are not evidence of a concert, performer or event.
